A British Rail exhibition showing some aspects of present day railway technology, including the Advanced Passenger Train and the High Speed Diesel Train, will be on display to all visitors to the Science Museum, London, SW7, from Wednesday, 2 August, 1972, until Sunday, 29 October, 1972, inclusive.
The exhibition will include a full size model of the power car of the Advanced Passenger Train, together with photographs, diagrams, new train seating, and equipment, including the hydro-kinetic brake for use with high-speed trains travelling at 155 mph and over.
